Managed to get my plate finished tonight for my Skyway TA Race build but when i've put it on i'm not sure I like it :-\
I think the plate looks pretty good but i'm just not sure if it's right on the bike
What do you reckon?

If it's any help I like it with and wothout :daumenhoch:
-
looks the dogs bollocks with it on :daumenhoch: not enough builds with plates on imo :smitten:
-
i kind of like it without so you can see the bar stickers. but saying that all my bikes have plates on so i'd leave it on.
-
In Fareness the without picture is an outside pic and looks far better,so take a pic in the same light and place, then decide :daumenhoch: bike is cool either way ;)
-
my own personal opinion.... bye bye plate.
-
Plate looks better than the chain :LolLolLolLol:
;)
-
Get DEL to work his MAGIC and make some ............... red white and blue stickers for the sides of the plate and your problem is NO LONGER :coolsmiley:
IMO ...................... WOODY :4_17_5:
-
looks great either way bud...not one for worrying about bud.
belting bike :daumenhoch:
-
Plate looks better than the chain :LolLolLolLol:

Shhhh that's coming tomorrow, i've added the crank decals so one step at a time :LolLolLolLol:

Dale , spoke on Sunday about the T/A didn't know it was gonna be that nice :4_17_5:
I've had the same quandry with some builds , as I like to have a plate for all my builds but sometimes they don't always benefit.
I just like having the plates because adding all the old school logos onthem ,takes me right back to reading the old magazines :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
-
are ya racin her dale or is it gonna be a carpet muncher???

Prefer it without but looks good either way.... :daumenhoch:

Only messin' ;) :LolLolLolLol:
Like Woody said , maybe look at the other colourways ref the small wing decals on the plate & have Del knock an alternative colour up ? .
-
withoot. nice bike. :daumenhoch:
-
I like it with the plate but it is a shame it covers the stickers on the bars. Take of the ACS and Mushroom stickers though. For one you havent got Mushrooms on it ;)
And get some brake blocks!!!! :LolLolLolLol:
-
Looks great with or without. Keep the plate and send me the bike; problem sorted >:D
-
With, its that big on a windy day it will be like a sail, then I will be able to pass you no problem ;D
Love the bike Dale :smitten:
-
With!! but my advice would be not to race it until you fit a chain (brake blocks are optional!) ..... Sweet ride Dale sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet...
-
+1 on switch the yellow out for red n white
Tidy ride every which way up mind :4_17_5:
-
Like others have said it looks nice both ways, BUT...........
For me personally I prefer "show builds" without a plate - I like to see the bars 8)
But that's just my take - Race plates for racing or hanging on the wall, or maybe for rider replica builds :-\
Lovely bike though :daumenhoch:
-
my own personal opinion.... bye bye plate.
Why pay for a Pad and cover it with a plate. Without the plate for me! :daumenhoch:
-
looks class without
-
With.. but thats because Paul (Snav) his infected me with his race plate addiction! ;D (Something about a plate finishing a bike off) :daumenhoch:
-
Looks better without :daumenhoch:
