MKX
This year we've teamed up with some of the legendary brands of OS BMX, without which it just wouldn't be the same
A MASSIVE thanks goes out to our event sponsors - these guys help keep MK10 a free event! So please support them.
VANS
www.vans.com
Since '66 Vans have been putting shoes on the feet of skateboarder and BMX riders - they were the only shoe to be seen in BITD and agruably still the best shoe out there. An absolutely legendary brand which moulded the style of an era. A huge thanks to VANS for joining us this year - we're honored to have you on board.
Tioga
www.tiogausa.com
Where would we be without the Tioga Comp III or the Comp ST? They were the staple of our riding throughout the 80's and remain at the forefront of tyre technology today. Again, a legend in our time and an absolute design classic. Thanks guys.
SE Racing
www.sebikes.com
P.K. Ripper, Quadangle, Floval Flyer - all icons of BMX from one of the originators of organised BMX. SE rule. A massive thank you from the whole team for joining us for a third year!
Redline Bikes
www.redlinebikes.com
35 years and still going strong - Redline were known as innovators and just keep on innovating. Awesome stuff. Big respect to you for your support of MK10.

Am entering this at MK10. Its a T/A race bike, but set up for road/street. Any suggestions what category to enter it into?

That will go into the Old School Race (1980-1986), it is not classed as a street bike as a Skyway is a race bike, what we mean by Street bike is Burners, Piranha's, Yamaha's etc i.e. low end bikes.
-
Thought so, but thanks for clarifying. This will be my first MK after rediscovering OS bmx last year - Cant wait!

And try to get them to either Rob (Pickle) or me as early as you can so we can get things sorted. Don't forget a stand for the bikes.

We will have Show N Shine Stands to buy this year - £9 a nice little rack with wheels on.
Cheap as chips.
Are these still gonna be sold Sean/Rob ?????
-
you guys are such Hunnies! Sunday early it is then.
(altho I was hoping I could use the S&S as an excuse not to go to a wedding on Saturday...)

they will be mate but i'm guessing there's not going to be loads of em, we ask people to bring their own otherwise no one will turn up with em and we may only have 10 or 15 to sell.
i think the rule will be, no stand then no entry to the tent as it's not fair if a bike falls over onto someone elses pride and joy
-
I have a few stands Rob but they're home made jobbies. Last year i covered the falling angle by pegging them down.
I just like the idea of a nice new one on wheels.
-
Then super stodgy is your man :daumenhoch:
-
Loads of stands for sale at mk chaps - see me or pickle on sat/sun to grab yours.
2 different types to fit budget; £6 each and £10 each.
Will post details laters
-
I'm going to miss this one as we'll be in the Isle of Man :'(
-
Are you guys going to be doing a webcast at all for those of us that can't be there? :D
-
Ermmmm.............NO! :D
-
really looking forward to it, should be a great weekend to meet everyone. I'm coming up from Brighton with the original Vincent Frames Freestyle team and my dad, Bernie Vincent so hope to chat to as many of you as possible. roll on the 31st!
-
Hi, what's the situation on having your own tent to display your bikes like some of the other guys do. Would the bikes still be included in the show and shine or do they have to be in the main tent for that?
Cheers, Tim
-
It's no problem at all Tim, you can display your bikes in your own tent by all means.......come and see either myself (probably based at the RADSHOP tent) or Stidds on sunday morning and get your bike tags. Any bike with a tag gets checked out by the judges :daumenhoch:
-
Thanks for that Pickle, me and some of my mates are gonna get all our bikes together and stick them in our tent. Should be wicked!! Will there be any form of plan as to where the tents go as I wouldn't want to stick mine where the main show & shine tent is suppose to be.
Tim.
-
Tim
The main S&S areas and trade stands etc are cordoned off, so you don't have to worry about parking your tent in the wrong place. You will be directed to the camping area when you arrive, find a comfortable place and sort your stuff out, then come over and see Rob or me.
-
Been looking for pre reg? Any idea when it'll be up or have I just missed it somewhere?
-
do you mean for racing or show n shine?
Racing will be up soon mate, as for SnS you can pre register by using the donate button on the home page and marking it as MK10 show n shine reg. then PM me the transaction code so we can double check it.
:daumenhoch:

No - I'll have plenty on with camping, looking after the boys (and the missus!) and racing on the Sunday. Plus I'm not a great guitarist or singer - better at backing others. I'm sure there's gonna be some DJing or similar going on anyway for entertainment.
-

Also, is there a recommended supermarket/shop near the track?
Cheers, Jon

Just posted the site map:
Oh, and we have a new caterer this year - a lovely traditional Fish n Chips van, which will also serve breakfast on Sat & Sun - so leave your camping stove at home and take it easy!!!
-
Hi
I'd like to display a few bikes, might do the show and shine if it isn't too late and was wondering if it's best to bring a shelter of some kind. I will be coming along with the family and would normally just use the car but don't know if that would work due to the position of the car park ?
Cheers
Edit.
Was just going to post this and found the question was partly answered after seeing the show layout. Do people show bikes in the car park area as well ?
-
Yes there's a large group who bring their own show tents and display them near the large helicopter landing pad. there is the official Show tent though that fits hundreds of bikes so you can put them in there as well :daumenhoch:
-
Ok cheers.
Hope all the tents etc near the Helecopter pad get tied down well just in case they come in to land ! ;)
-
