When I was about 11 and had a crappy Team Murray, Chris was on Torker and lived near me. One day I was hanging around Betts Park where we all use to ride and Chris had a guy called Dave Bassett staying with him. They invited me to tag along to ride all the way to Brixton Skatepark. Well for a start I hadn't ever ridden so far away from home so that was an adventure in itself but sessioning Brixton was a very memorable moment and to be in the company of top riders was a real buzz.
I hung around a lot with Chris and all the other guys from that area, some of the best years of my life and Chris was always a super cool guy with a great family behind him.
Happy days. I have some pics of Chris somewhere.

Plenty of TOP riders came out of that area, Chris and Andy, the Llewelyns, the Godfreys, all probably started off riding down the Sewage Farm!

Same as you Clive, been saying it for years but must find the pics I have of Chris and me racing at Jackswood acesBMX track in Paddock Wood in Kent. I also have pics of him jumping a motocross bike, must get of my ass and find them.
