So no baby blue or bitchin' black till 80 onwards then ? ???
-
slightly off topic , *cough* sorry about that ,, is there anyway to tell the difference between pre serial and one where the serial has just been removed i have a black pk with no serial , its one of steve p's old ones , its been re powdered at some point but no trace of a serial at all
-
Are Pre serial the round Top tube ones ? ::)
-
it could be under the powder glen, it should be on outside right rear dropout...
-
Am sure pre 79 they came in a dark brown colour too. :daumenhoch:
.... and what about baby blue?

Chris at Shiner was telling me that his father Micheal pushed SE to produce some specific colours for SE in the UK. Not knowing much about the brand i cant give you specifics but they had an excellent relationship with Mike Devitt who agreed it.
-
I was reading somewhere this week that Shiner was there biggest and best customer.
*And forgot to say, I've got a ripper without a serial, floval top tube. I've seen it stripped and there's no sign of a repair on drop out disguising it. Any ideas on its era? Or any other info? :-*

i think i've painted every colour but wouldnt know if they where era correct but there's
a good few of them :)

Can anybody qualify if there were UK only colours at some point? I wouldnt question Chris as he is extremely knowledgable. Can anybody add anything or show some examples of non standard OG SE colours?
