So...I do an overtime shift last night, it's been booked for a week or so, but on Wednesday we got a call from our Estate Agents saying they have someone that wants to view our house today at Noon...
...but as you know from my post yesterday, i've been building my DP in the house as we've no garage, and I knew i'd have to shift it outside to the shed...
...well, I arrive home at 06.30 this morning to 1 lounge minus 1 DP build. So I ask the Wife what she's done with it to which she replies 'it's in the shed'. Knowing the shed is already rammed with bikes and bits, I waited for daylight to investigate. I will post pics up later but to my horror, my DP and 5 NOS tyres were lying on top of the other bikes, albeit with a cardboard box separating them. I promptly went in the house and kicked off about her error in badly positioning said build which lead to a huge arguement, mainly because she was so blase about lack of respect for my prized posessions, she even laughed at me saying I was overeacting.
It ended when she said 'you think more about that bike than you do about me', my response was, 'sweetheart, I think more about my Burner than I do about you!!'.

Is there room for a sleeping bag in the shed :)
-
lmao burner!!!!!
Mine knows better than to touch my toys, the only bugger that ignores me is my son, who, for that matter, doesnt live with me, regularly comes round when im at work and helps himself to my S&M and KHE from the shed and my mrs just lets him take them out :/

There's only one thing for it mate, all the bikes in the house and the mrs moves out to the shed, just make sure the chain is long enough to get into the kitchen :LolLolLolLol:

Dan you should know you can't win against a woman , you need to change tactics :2funny: :2funny:

Dear Dan
ive just read about your slight frame + fork and the shed problem please remember, men and women are equal mate...... so all you need is a spade. dig a hole in your garden and place neatly all her shoes and hand bags into the then fill the hole in... calmly walk back into the house and say ... ive done to your shoes and bags the same as you did to my BIKE. i think from that day on Dan she will be more understanding and WILL leave your bike alone. Please take pic , and post on "RAD" of your wifes face as she start to dig in the Garden

Oooo those GT forks are awful close to the Haro frame
-
Got be honest she looks like she'll be good at packing a suitcase . :daumenhoch:
-
easily get a small bed and tv in there.... 8)
-
I would comment but I know your wife and she will give me a clip around the ear if she sees it but I would refer to Lennies comment :LolLolLolLol:
-
Joking aside now. I think she did her best to be honest. most women wouldnt consider putting a box there to add some protection to the bike, most would open the door of the shed, see all the bikes rammed in there and think "oh he rams them in there then", and throw it on the top of the amassed kids bikes. I think she did a good job . . . . . . . . . . for a women :LolLolLolLol:
-
Looks fine to me. :daumenhoch:
-
I have to be honest i would have found mine in the garden even if it was raining!
-
Dont worry Dan the lads have been round to your rescue. weve tided up your shed given it a lick of paint so no need to worry :daumenhoch:

I'd toe bung my missus in the faj if she did that to 1 of mine Dan >:D
-
pws finishing ltd, any reworks and minor damage undertaken and can also organise a
hit if needed, your one stop shop for bmx powdercoating and bumping off your spouse ;)
-
Why on earth did she put it in the shed she should have built it up and positioned it in pride of place it in the living room
It should be a goddamn feature piece and would've actually helped sell the house , silly woman :idiot2:
;) :D

Women can be daft as fook as if potential buyers are gonna give a fook. :idiot2:
Next time she's out put her handbag and shoe collection in the loft and when she comes back give her a fiver and tell her it's from cash for clothing. :daumenhoch:

Follow up to this ...
The buyers came round and were very impressed with how clean and tidy the house was and were going to put in an offer when the female buyer interupted and said ......
''do you mind if we take a quick peek in the shed''
Sell the house , curb her , give her a fraction of what you get , buy a split screen camper with a bike rack and drive off into the sunset hunting for some fresh snatch ;)

it's alright, it's only a dp.

Had the same arguments mate and bike treatment.
I put it like this.
My bikes are my release. If I give my sanity keeper up so do you.
If you damage anything it gets sorted straight away out of my savings (which take us on holiday).
She clicked. 8)
