I left him at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

He has some crazy bit of bone sticking out of his collar bone, is in major pain and the morphine is making him feel really sick.
I think they are going to keep him in overnight.
And if they don't, I didn't want to be a "lift home" option that they could use - a 1.5 hour trek down the lanes to Stafford would have finished him off.

Oh and thanks for showing me where the hospital was! I'd have never have found the smegger!
The car park was full so I parked in a side street nearby. I could remember the way from the hospital back to the car, as there was a lot of spew on the ground on the way for some reason. Follow the yellow sick road.

Hopefully my absence will ensure he gets to stay in overnight and try and sleep off the morphine.

He says when he moves his arm, he can feel the broken collar bone bits grating together.

But young Mark was on the Munny! really on it and getting out the top of the quarter... tired a bit towards the end and gave us skipped heartbeats when he cased the top...OOOOH ya bugger... great riding Mark :daumenhoch:

Munny - found that mario's kebab shop in the delightful Braunstone gate - was like an episode of man vs food as they gave me a (small) kebab the size of a pillow

Just woke up. My phone battery had gone completely flat overnight, but his wife had left me a message, saying he was back at home now, and was going to Stafford hospital to have stuff done to his collarbone/shoulder, and they would come and pick up his giant work van today!

oh shit... thought he was taking a bit of a risk without safety gear on, but in any case none of that would have helped prevent a collar bone break :(
didn't even realise until late that he'd done it - saw the tumble but didn't look that serious, then when the crowd was over in the corner later a few of us just thought someone had broken the ramp.
