Well, every man should have two Knightbikes it would seem eh Nick....... :coolsmiley:
So why are these so good then? How about the fact it's built to modern geometry with quite large tubes and is 3" longer than my original 1978 Team Mongoose but it wieghs less than 100 grams more

When I put my Oddy Director forks on it at 860g, then the whole combo will be only be 76g heavier than the thin-walled 1970's counterpart

The race one is also 224g lighter than the park one I have

Looks awesome Adiers, glad you put you your stamp on it mate, looks great :daumenhoch:
Sadly I sold my other one a few years back but I miss them both :'(
-
Nice to hear from you Spen, do you still have the 78 team goose? I didn’t like that :smitten:
-
Yeah, the '78 Goose the one alongside your race Retrogoose in the earlier photos. Sadly I also sold that as well, including my original Proclass wheels from 1983 as I was buying a new house a couple of years ago. I hadn't quite sold the previous one, so everything I could sell got sold :'(
I kept a cheaply built Wethepeople bike to ride and now have a retro GT Performer so still going newschool in disguise as I couldn't afford another Retrogoose 😫
