Nelly, me and my Daughters first MK...Well Saturday only...
Fantastic event this guys, we got to put some Names to faces, Markyp,Animal,Bmx Weekly,Kappy. I sank a few to many sherberts last night so I guess the rest will filter back through the day.... ;D
My old pals Norty40 and In2bmx were milling around, "well one of then was in body but not 100% in mind saturday morning, every credit .... :coolsmiley:"
Snav working hard in the spare parts sale tent...it was 10 men deep there and talk about hot in that tent.....I put factor 15 on to just stand in there for 5 minutes.... 8)
Got chance to catch up with Lenny again, Radtor 2 talk.......it sounds like it just might happen.....I will be on that one......Lenster :daumenhoch:
The camping field was also just fantastic, the old Chevorlet truck loaded with Pk Rippers and the camper pick up with the Haro's on the back were awesome, the collection of bikes behind us on the helipad were mind blowing, that black Haro feestyler with the slick tyres..... :smitten:
Torker dude180 on another amazing build and some sweet bits for sale...
A little favourite of mine a stunning Pro Star was worth the 2 hour journey alone...
Came away with a box full of bits for our bikes and some inspiration to strip and rebuild my GT Pro in a completely different colour scheme.... :coolsmiley:
Nelly's first build the Mongoose Cali got way to much love, what a bike...

Well we arrived at 9.30 on Sat from Bristol, starving hungry & then someone said there was a McDonalds just down the road. We got back around 10 & had a ride about, me on the 85 Haro Sport & Steve on his yellow 84 Quad, met loads of top chaps, amazing bikes, this was our first & we will def be back next year with more lads & lots more bikes. I did a few tailwhips & cherry pickers & got a few cheers on the heli pad but why wasnt anyone else showing there moves, come on lads! :D
Be sweet to have a small trick ramp next time, just for a few kick turns & roll backs, not to go launching into space you understand :LolLolLolLol:
Great day & so wished we stayed for the weekend, well done to all :4_17_5:

Didn't take my camera, but a rundown on what i did:
got burnt to fook, despite spending half the day lay under my car hiding from the heat
entered jump competition at the request of every other person in the competition staring at me :P
saw lots of people buying pink tires and purply-pink mag wheels that'll probably be on ebay by now
got shitfaced outside the pub because i was on an empty stomach
did a few tailwhips on the helipad then decided i'd stop for the day since the sun was killing me
also ate at the local Cafe just before the bridge, wink wink nudge nudge.
Oh also Gaz randomly flagged me down to say Snav (never met him before this) was looking for me, gave me a description and i promptly went and flagged down the only other guy at MK that fit the description that was NOT Snav, oh well, got there in the end!
P.s. push the lever up and then down, not just up, i dont want to see your turds stood proud guys.

Yep, I see the Skyway Mini EZ's have hit the bay...........hang your heads in shame. :-\
Can I just add that yet again, there were some great bargains from the Shiner stand. Thanks lads.
Scored a NOS Streetstyler for 40 Quid. :daumenhoch:
Also got myself a 3 sets of Skyway EZ's for my Skyway builds, some tech 5's and a few DC Cables.....

Talked shop, got burnt, lost half my bodyweight sweating. Put it back on eating Stus cooked breakfast. Junior didn't fall off. I did a one day build that came out awesome. Sweet weekend all in all

Got to say it was great to catch up with the same lads I spent Mk11 with. Our camp was great. Everything from food to beer to music to tools and bike storage was all on hand. It's good to have a group effort. :4_17_5:

My first BMX meet in 25 years and chuffing brilliant, the bikes were amazing, I was just cruising around on the blue GT Show.
Spoke to a lot of people, fantastic.
Thanks for the memories, also the music was the same music I used to rave to in north London, ha!
Well worth the 250 mile round trip, oh the weather was alright too

My first MK heres the story ,
my weekend started friday afternoon when me, Kerrryman and Raefe left for mk about 4pm and got to the premier inn on the lake about 7 ish ,
lobbed the bags in and went and had a couple of pints , then got the bikes out and had a little ride round to the site and had a sneaky couple of laps round the track ,
then back to the pub for some food and a few more pints ,
saturday morning we got to the helipad and set up our 2 gazebo's and got our bikes out on display ,
we had 3 Rickman freestylers and 2 mini Rickman freestyler F/F , also my 84 haro sport and kerrymans DP freestyler ,
the rest of the day was spent chilling out and looking round all the quality bikes on display ,
meeting and chatting to a load of people we hadn't met before ,
and also catching up with the top blokes we met in Cologne ,
then it was the bunny hop competition and the lake ride ,
What an awesome site the lake ride was with what must of been a couple of hundred bmxs riding round the lake and stopping at the pub ,
couple of pints at the first pub then round to the harvester for a couple more .
then it was back to the helipad for a BBQ , beer and music and general round the campsite shenannigans ,
then a wobble round the pitch black lake to the hotel for bed :D
sunday morning
back to the helipad to clean up from the night before , had a good clean up of our gazebos then tidyed up the helipad a bit :angel:
then it was a quick wipe over of the bikes we were entering into the show and shine ,
and more drooling over even more bikes that had turned up :)
Soon it was time for the Racing ,
i had entered the OS novice class ,
and i managed 3 ,2nd places in the 3 moto's ,i just couldn't beat my nemesis Nick swan ;)
in the finals i came 4th , but i was well chuffed with how it went as it was my first ever time racing and i was on my freshly rebuilt
Rickman with freestyle tyres and all .
BUT big respect to all the racers who took part it was great fun ,
no trophys in the S & S , but my mate Raefe won the new school United BMX in the raffle :daumenhoch:
which topped off a great weekend
Once again Massive thanks to ALL the people who made it happen

Got an Elina LB seat, some pedals and a chainring.
Hotel room with broken AC.
Changed to room with working AC. Thank fook for that.
Wobble round the track.
Brilliant lake ride.
Nice meal with the wife.
Upset stomach. :crazy2:
Decided I would still race.
Got some UKAI rims and a couple of B73 tees.
First race since last century.
Close to exhaustion.
Took it easy for the rest of the day.
Got too hot.
Had a brilliant day. :)

Got smashed,
got hot,
saw bmx porn,
helped Carl set the Robbos up as he couldn't,
Ate some raw meat,
Had a wobble with Wini and Ed around the track which I loved.
Bought a t shirt from beard, and some value caps off Scotty B,
Had a rave on the helipad with Jongoose,
Sang a few tunes,
Lost my yellow performer
Found it next morning on the front seats of the Van, exactly where I'd left it,
Spilled more ale than I drank outside the pub on the lake ride
But best and most importantly, I spent 2 days with awesome people I've met before and met some new people that are equally as awesome.

arrived sat morning.....met up with scotty b,stu,mani,wazza,craig,grant,daz h,(amazing hospitality)..cant thank you guys enough ;)..got a few bargains from shiner and some other stalls...plan of the weekend was to get my mate a 20..built in 2 days...drank lots.lots of amazing bikes on show,and meeting up with lots of other people...
