Title: Restoration of a white CW Racing frame
Post by: Willevie on December 09, 2012, 08:16 PM
Hi - I have an early 80's CW Racing frame in mint condition which I would like to rebuild. I would like to try and make the rebuild as authentic as poss - but within a reasonable cost. It's not to ride - just to look at!  Does anyone know someone who can help with the rebuild , London based. Also have a Skyway and yellow GT that I would do the same with if the CW was a success.... Thx Will

Which frame is it? What is the serial number. It'll either be on the outside of the right rear dropout (if it's early 80s) or on the bottom bracket (if its late 80s).

Out of the 3 frames this is the only one that has serial numbers on it!

Unfortunately there are no markings anywhere on the frame or forks

Yes they all have, doesn't sound like it is a CW.
Pics will help

Unless they were all nicked bitd. Not pointing the finger at you by the way! Looking forward to seeing some pics. Get some up of the skyway too. Would like to see the bottom bracket area where the serial no would have been
