Title: Locking Tech 6's
Post by: Jaan on January 02, 2013, 02:52 PM
Can anyone fill me in as to why they often go for $100 plus on the museum?

What year they were typically found on BMX and who ran them?

Bonjour

???  Not seen many Tech 6 sets go for more than $50 and when they are slightly over that, they are the rare blue or red anno one's. They came into production in 1986 and were used on lots of Freestyle bike complete sales.

You sure you are not thinking of Tech 7's?  They are hard to come by and very sought after and go for $150 minters - $275 NOS in the bag.

ACS locking Tech 3's sell for $350 minters - $500 NOS in the bag  ::)

Yep - I meant Tech 7, thats twice today you've educated me  :daumenhoch:

I should either work or be on here - mixing them both rarely works although i did get to build a BMX once for Telefonica!!!
