Then a streetbeat front end in orange.

But i think i may just do it all white.... But the laquer job is just so cool.

Yes chris they are the forks that were with the frame originally, managed to do a deal inc the forks.
The forks are original skyway steerer tube, the rest is custom build.

Am I on the understanding that they bought all the old Skyway tubing and drops when BMX took a nose dive and then built these? That is a Street Beat top tube correct? Or did they just buy the frames and old tubing and then 'bastardise' them into something better looking?

Post by: thebigdog on January 12, 2013, 01:53 PM: I believe a company (cant remember the name) bought the last few bits of original skyway tubing and built this custom frame ,the top,bottom,head tube & gusset are all streetbeat, the back end is all TA tubing...all original 80s tubing

I think this is one of only 2 built by the company, I think the owner built himself one as he loved this so much.

Painting that frame would take away most of it's character. Looks mint as it is and quite unique. :daumenhoch:

Those decals are wicked. Del is a god amongst us - fact! I know it's your bike now but why oh why did you paint it white like every other bloomin TA on here when that raw lacquered finish was spectacular. Sorry bud, you had something special and now it looks bog standard until you get close enough to spot the difference.....

I got this from thebigdog and had every intention of going back to raw but a few years later, still sat part built and not really feeling it I decided to build it up for MK last year and this is how it came out.
