So i'm putting back together a set of DX. got all the bearings here and there are 2 different sizes. which size go where? larger ones nearer the pedal boss or the end cap end? ???
-
anyone?
-
Don't think I've ever seen em with two different sizes of bearings? Then again not done loads of em, think the one's I've done were 4mm bearings either side.
At a guess I'd say bigger bearings near the crank arm, small at the end cap end? Edit - check a bearing next to the runner groove on the spindle/bolt - you should be able to see in profile which size bearing will fit where :)

Cheers.
I built these before and got it the wrong way around as they just didnt fit right .. but forgot which way around that was. Just trying to get a heads up so i dont have to strip them down again :P

I just built a set of DX up yesterday and the bearings were all the same size (11 in each end 22 total per pedal) ...not sure whats going on with yours?! :-\
