Talking to a few peeps about these and apparantly they all do it :'( wtf should i do send it back as its false advertizing saying they are great and all when obviously they have a fecking major design flaw :o £95 quids worth of crapo :'(

rhys i think i will try this what a piece of cack this hub really is wish i had bought a profile or primo now :'(
-
mines the old one which looks like a grifters rear hub
-
Ye mate i put them in the box and fitted a seperate driver ;) i can buy a profile titanium driver to fit it, in 9 tooth form, but at £78 ??? i think its the ring gear inside as there not a lot depth to the teeth :-\
-
or the pawls aint releasing properly thats y i used thin oil in it
cleaned it right out first tho
-
I,ll try some hydraulic oil in it rhys and let you know how i go cheers again dude ;)
-
ok cool ive gotta get a new axle kit for mine as me bearings are shot
-
ok, there was an article in ride about cassete hubs and lubing them up...i think when they are packed with grease there is the benefit of a quiet freewheel click but the minus side is that the pawls dont somtimes release, resulting in them skipping a notch every now and then.
im sure the recomendation in ride was to use a thin grease rather than oil, ie marine grease, which i know is fairly runny, as i used to have to use it on my jetski prop shaft....good luck

£95 for a hub!
you must be a millionaire bannana
-
and by the way, muck around with it, grease, oil, etc...... not likely..............
SEND IT BACK TO EM, TOSSERS.
-
mines not skipped a beat in a year!! not got a driver tho must admit, just using the 12t cog that came with it. :-\
-
Its swings and roundabouts with these hubs but I use a profile SS hub, I know £170 is a lot of money but I cant fault mine,
Andy

Here's an update
Well but some oil in and made no diffrence still a piece of sh*t click ,crunch etc etc
DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE HUBS or you'll be throwing your money away as i have asked about and the majority do crunch and click with only the odd few not :-\

get some skyways on it. 15 quid for a shimano freewheel.
-
Too flexi for me now fruits ??? im thinking of going the flip flop route ;)
