Okay, i know lots of people have been to MK events before and know all of this.....but lots haven't so thought i would bang up a 'Things you will need to bring with you' kind of thread :daumenhoch:
If you are camping, please bring some rubbish bags to put all YOUR own rubbish in (then once you've filled up the bags please put them in the huge skip provided) :daumenhoch:
Toilet paper (yes the four toilets we provide do come with some, but it soon goes and it's like tracing paper) ;D
If you are planning on using the Track on Saturday or racing on Sunday, you will require a helmet and gloves. The track is a kind of dirt/sandy type finish to it and it hurts if you fall off! (you will have to take off your pegs as well if your new school bike has them fitted) :daumenhoch:
If you are showing your awesome builds in the show and shine tent, you will need to bring your own bike stands. we do not provide stands for people and no bikes will be allowed in the show and shine tent without a proper stand
Money..........bring plenty with you as there will be lots of stuff to buy :daumenhoch:
I can't think of anything else at the mo but feel free to add anything if you think of stuff :daumenhoch:

Don't just bring your showbikes, bring a rider also as on the Saturday night we all venture out on the lake ride with a pub half way round for refreshments :4_17_5: :4_17_5: It's an awsome site with 200+ grown up children in a huge line around a very busy lake / funfair. :coolsmiley:

Can we please have an accurate post code/address cos last year I spent forever travelling round the roads of Milton Keynes trying to find it :idiot2: :D
A large sign on the main road saying Radbmx event or MK13 would be really helpful for us who are geographically challenged :-[

It's simple Ant.
If travelling from the North.
Come off the M1 at Junction 14.
Turn right towards MK.
Head into MK.
Turn right at the first roundabout.
Turn right at the second roundabout.
That is Tongwell Street.
Look for BMX sign on side of road about 200 yards up on the left.
Turn left down this lane.
Jobs a good un.

This is the address I found for the Sewage works as my ancient sat nav works off streets not postcodes.

It really is easy to find if you're coming off the M1.
Come off at Junction 14, head into Milton Keynes, turn right at the first roundabout, turn right at the next roundabout (you are then on Tonwell St) the entrence to the track is about 500/700 yards on the left (it has a yellow metal barrier thing on the entrence) follow it down to the track :daumenhoch:

How to get to Radbmx MK13 - Postcode MK15 9LZ
- M1 to Milton Keynes
- Junction 14 take the A509 to Milton Keynes
- Roundabout turn RIGHT staying on A509 ( H5 Portway )
- next roundabout turn RIGHT onto Tongwell Street
- after 1/2 mile look for a turn off on the left to Pineham BMX track ... look for BMX signs :-)
- follow the track round to the right back under the road ... TA DAAA!

The Holiday Inn postcode which is 200yds from the entrance to the track, also the H/I is on the same side so if you find that then you've found the track.
