Title: MK Request - please read!
Post by: Gashead on February 16, 2014, 07:39 PM
Ok Radsters, with MK on our minds and you chaps getting ready to tinker over the spring and summer, us Team Admin have a request..........

To celebrate 10 years of Radbmx.co.uk and 10 years of these awesome events, we would like to request you squeeze as many bikes, frames into your cars, vans, truck, caravans and Vespa's as possible, so to get as many bikes and displays possible.

We will organise more tents, if you want to display in the main area, so feel free to contact.....

I'm also gunna ask the Burner Boys to come, maybe a joint Burner Bash do.....as to get as many bikes to MK as possible.

Why, cus we love BMX

Do you think we can write a massive RAD 10 with bikes?

Obviously we'd need a cherry picker and some mug to get in it to go high enough to take a pic.  :LolLolLolLol:

its not a problem Dan ... nosepickben is really tall :-)

on the real tho - just get a long pole and a remote control camera and have a few goes ... or one of those hovering GoPro remote drone / copters :-)

If anybody is wondering how much van hire is, I got an XL wheelbase transit last year for 3 days (Friday lunch - Monday lunch) for £105.

So it didn't break the bank for me to take 14 bikes last year.

Let's do it :daumenhoch:

ie all GTs, all Haros etc etc and not just a 'Brit tent' or is it a free for all?

A request has been made for a Piranha display, this would be a very small one I'm guessing.  :-\

What do you want?  What we need is to be able to fill any marquees we order as they cost a lot to sit empty or half full.

Just a thought really.

The S&S has been the main focus on the Sunday in years past. I know that with best intentions freestyle and race have tried to be seperated in the tent but it always seems a bit of a miss match by Sunday afternoon. Not a dig by the way.

Maybe it's my OCD but, and I put it out to the membership, on this occasion being such a milestone of 10 years would putting bikes in groups of their manufacturers make the gathering that little bit more special?

Even if it's just the Saturday? Maybe?

I won't be upset if this idea gets shot down............................honest :LolLolLolLol:

I see what you mean and it is a good idea.

The problem arrises the same way as the S&S, everything starts off well people are putting their bikes in the correct place but then somebody else comes along and puts their bike in the completely wrong place, then another, then another or somebody decides they don't want their bike where it is as it is not on display enough and moves it without anybody knowing.

After about an hour of this it has all gone to pot.  :knuppel2:

On another note, although I'll be there, pretty much most of my bikes will be sold by them so ill only have 3 or 4.
