That was more difficult than anticipated and I ended up going for something that wasn't my original first choice!  :idiot2:

And to add to this thread, as Rob says it is just a bit of fun, going onto other forums and/or facebook groups with cap in hand begging for votes isn't really in the spirit of why we run BOTM.

I entered for the first time in November Dude and I agree its not the done thing. I saw and got the feeling that it was more about how many people you knew well enough to vote for you the person and not nessasrly the bike..

Just a question why cant entrants send admin the pics and details and admin put them on that way all the enterys are at top of post '' first page not spreed out over 1, 2 may be 3 pages '' then theres no members name linked to the bike.. its then fairer I would think..

  over ..

Its just a bit of fun, people will vote however they want I guess. Sometimes I've voted for bikes built by good friends.....but its more to do with knowing all the work that's gone into building it.

Let's not get too hung up on it hey  :daumenhoch:

Really? I came pretty close last month with my Pro Class, and I've never met a single member in flesh, and only dealt with a handful through sales and trades etc..

I don't think I've ever seen a winner that didn't deserve it. It's always pretty close.
