Attention to detail and the amount of time and effort you put into it is a credit to you mate.
It's as mad as a box of frogs but it's one hell of a cool bike :coolsmiley:

"Well I say" nothing like using up most of the dictionary :coolsmiley:
-
Mad as a box of frogs. Loads of thoought, planning & effort clearly went into this. Not to everyones taste of course, but I think it's great! :4_17_5:
-
You may think this as even more crazy :uglystupid2: I was thinking today and I need to stop doing it :LolLolLolLol: (I love Z'ds) remove the wheels complete (keep them of course) and purchase 2 x schwinn 170 hubs and lace them to a couple of NOS z-rims so it looks like it's on nylon skinnies and the angle of the spokes from the hubs will really show off the spokes. :coolsmiley: I wonder :chin:
Thank you everyone on RAD for your support on this project.
The breakdown, measurements and build are now on retro-goose.com in the projects section.

On One have done one for a while now, Double top tube as well ;D
Looks just like a DP ;)
-
Didn't realise it, but wife just showed me a travel magazine with these 'fat bikes' in. People ride across snowy mountains on em!
-
They use them on sand as well. Fooking amazing build that is, attention to detail is crazy. :daumenhoch:
-
The new fat mongoose Bmax frame has new school geometry and the others above are mountain bike frames, it was touch and go whether I could get these wheels into an old school bmx frame , Even though the wheels are 20" the OD with the tyres are 30mm larger than a standard bmx wheel (15mm top 15mm bottom) That's why I made it so the tyre is only 2mm from touching the bottom of the fork otherwise it would have sat too high at the front.
-
not keen on it or the concept but deserves the win for work involved. :4_17_5:
