Was having a rummage around in the workshop this evening and stumbled across my seat post extractor jig. Anyone need me to bring it to MK for their stuck posts?
-
If only I could get the silverfox up there, that would test it :teef:
-
Any reason why you can't obi wan?
-
Severe lack of bootspace captain
Room for one bike tops
-
Severe lack of hand use due to amputation
-
I've got 2 I can't shift, tried fooking everything!
What exactly is it / how does it work?
-
This is it

It needs about 3 inches of post to be protruding and ideally the top of the seat mast not to be all mangled :daumenhoch:
-
Love it! Simple engineering at its best. If you decide to bring it ,let me know & I'll bring the frames. I can give them a good soak first and can drill the top of the post. :daumenhoch:
-
cool :daumenhoch:
i think you get made king or something if you can remove excaliber from griffs silverfox ;D
-
Will deffo bring it now someone need it. I will bring my drill to drill it too. The jig acts as a drill guide :daumenhoch:
-
Tenner a go

:LolLolLolLol: only for mid school anchors

-
Shall I pack my headset and bb cup press as well for anyone to use
-
Wouldn't harm :daumenhoch:
-
I've just checked my frames, both have less than 3" sticking up and one is mangled to fook!
Not worth me bringing them >:(
-
Can you measure them exactly? I reckon 2 inch or slightly less would be enough :daumenhoch:
-
I'll get a pic tomorrow 😉
You sound like you need a challenge :LolLolLolLol:
-
I don't like losing ;D
-
Clint , got an old burner frame ( :-[ :D ) here that has a post stuck in it , i'll sling it in the van if you don't mind taking a look at it :daumenhoch:
-
I want to see this in action, can it be beaten?
How exciting.
:)

Joff it needs to have a standard bmx sized seatpost in it, not a comedy Nottingham sized one or the rig won't work. If a standard 1" clamp fits the frame then game on, but if not leave it in peace at home..... :-\
Griff, I know you have a comedy car for transporting bikes but surely you could get the fox in without it's wheels - that excalibur Renthall defeated me, my brother and even Steve Animal a few years back.... got to be the challenge for this bad boy rig to try and shift I'd say :coolsmiley:
-
I will also have a van full of kit/tools if needed, all the batteries are charged!!!
And a vice!
and a grinder
and more silicone than Jordans teats!!
MM
-
Yep sorry Joff the jig only fits proper bikes ;D
