Title: MK Bodge bench *** posts... posts.. get yer posts pulled here!!***
Post by: oldschoolace on August 08, 2015, 08:56 PM
Was having a rummage around in the workshop this evening and stumbled across my seat post extractor jig. Anyone need me to bring it to MK for their stuck posts?

This is it

http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,179922.msg1806749.html#msg1806749

It needs about 3 inches of post to be protruding and ideally the top of the seat mast not to be all mangled  :daumenhoch:

Love it! Simple engineering at its best. If you decide to bring it ,let me know & I'll bring the frames. I can give them a good soak first and can drill the top of the post. :daumenhoch:

I've just checked my frames, both have less than 3" sticking up and one is mangled to fook!
Not worth me bringing them >:(

Can you measure them exactly? I reckon 2 inch or slightly less would be enough  :daumenhoch:

Joff it needs to have a standard bmx sized seatpost in it, not a comedy Nottingham sized one or the rig won't work. If a standard 1" clamp fits the frame then game on, but if not leave it in peace at home..... :-\

Griff, I know you have a comedy car for transporting bikes but surely you could get the fox in without it's wheels - that excalibur Renthall defeated me, my brother and even Steve Animal a few years back.... got to be the challenge for this bad boy rig to try and shift I'd say :coolsmiley:

And a vice!

and a grinder

and more silicone than Jordans teats!!
