tyres look like they could be comp pools and not sure if the stem is a suntour power stem. also looks like skyway pegs on the front. think your right about everything else though.

Tyres cannot be pools as it was 85
Good spot on the pegs

Tyres are Comp ST Brett, or maybe Comp ramp. defo not pools...
Stem is a Skyway freestyle...
The tuffs would have probably been 50/50's...they were on his other bike
Glad you taking this route with it... :daumenhoch:

I think you are all spot on .. Andy has the magazine with those shots in it .. I gave it to him recently ., I've asked him to have a closer squint ... Ask Steve if it's Skyway stem .. It could well be as they were smaller stems ?
Craig always ran skyway pegs on the front only.

Just seen some pics of CC on a baby blue with both front and rear pegs so I apologise  :-\

I think Dom Phippso , knows this as he was going to do one ages ago?

He had all the spec ready to go,  I think it is a skyway stem for sure.

looking at the images in the above link the tyres look to be Panaracers imho.

Great bike btw, always wanted to do his baby blue version as a replica before I stupidly moved mine on  :'(

The tyres are definitely Comp ST. I can see the logo at the top. and the triangular shape gives it away.

fairplay, sorry bud. Just thought the tread pattern on the rear wheel looked more panaracer to me - in the image where he's table-topping the bowl.

No worries, can't wait to see yours come together. Good luck

Just been looking at the stem and fairly certain it is a Suntour. I hope so as I have fitted it

Here's a few scans from the bike review/test in Freestyle BMX magazine, plus an ad from BMX Action Bike

The stem on both of the test bikes are white. Skyway stems?

Both bikes were at the kellogs in 85. I was there an watched him and Neil offload the bikes from Peter Hawkins Beyond Software sponsored early space wagon. I specifically noticed that only Neil had a Skyway stem on his beat. The blue pro lite ran  a Suntour.

I know nothing about freestyle builds and had to Google what a Skyway stem even looks like.
But having done so, it's definitely isn't Skyway (nothing like the shape). I also don't think it's Suntour due to proportions  :-\

My money would be on it being ACS

Based on the above I therefore stand corrected. The lower part of the stem is white - did suntours some in white? Unless it was painted post production?   :-\

The bottom half of the clamping bit is above the shaft in the CC photo where it is in front of the shaft on the Suntour.
The ACS is a big stem, quite tall too. I would have to look in the cave to check whether the body sits like in the CC photo.

I am not so sure now Andy. In the pic the stem appears to have about an inch of material between the flat bottom of the stem and where it meets the shaft, The Suntour only appears to have about a 1/4 inch...same as the Skyway. I also reckon it's the lighting in the pic which is making the bottom half appear white, I reckon it's a raw stem. Perhaps Nick is correct.... :-\

I am sure it is not a skyway.  it is far to curved

As you can see in the two pics here, the section at the bottom of the stem where the main shaft is attached is much bigger than the Suntour

The ACS stem's proportions are more likely.

Also the way the stem pad sits, as it would on the underside support web of ACS stem  ;)

That is a rep built from one KOSP pic, which isn't completely correct. No EZ1's , no Hot Seat....I wonder how many other details are incorrect?  :-\

I've linked you into this sale on Facebook Bret, I think this is possibly the stem you are looking for...

I have had a good look at the ACS stems. Not convinced about that one. I nearly went for the one on facebook but not convinced and then the price nearly doubled for it :(
