My 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour

Picked this up for £30 on a local (Swedish) buy and sell website. Bike was 300 miles away from me, but sent my father-in-law on an adverture since he lived less than an hour away from the seller. Original advert photo here: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Z9o6Sqrpugw/VsdfTiQW0EI/AAAAAAAADt4/oEtnd0w-b54/s640/blogger-image-1191210643.jpg (https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Z9o6Sqrpugw/VsdfTiQW0EI/AAAAAAAADt4/oEtnd0w-b54/s640/blogger-image-1191210643.jpg)

I tried to recover the chrome as best I could before restoration but wasn't able to get it looking well on the forks and around the bottom bracket, so I took the tough decision to have it powder coated by SBD. Thankfully, I was able to use the original Tiger Drylac day-glow pink (Big thanks to Trevor Henry for that) so that at least eased my mind with powder coating.

Rather than go the catalogue pink/white I decided to add my only twist on the bike using Space Development bars and basing the colours on one of my old '80s GT bikes which was dayglow pink and blue. Although I have all the parts to make it a standard catalogue bike with the correct white 87 parts also.

You can read all the boring stuff in the build thread here: http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,186237.0.html (http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,186237.0.html)

Seriously how am I supposed to choose one out of these three already

That GT freestyler has had a serious amount of love put in and is stunning, the "new school in disguise" Haro I absolutely want to thrash round a skatepark (and fookin love G-Sport rims even though ouch they cost a bit!) and that GT cruiser is a complete stunner, end of :coolsmiley:

It's true what Spen says ... Plus it's great to see and remind people that us Rad voters take this thing very seriously and think long and hard about our votes and about the effort put into all those that enter fistblump
