Got a longer mx 1000 front centring spindle vgc off an 83 brake
Needing a shorter rear the same

Cut it down and use a die to re thread it.  :)

Nice idea but the cams for the first spacer are either horizontal or vertical for rear or front

Agh yes, I remember now. So if you are desperate you could drill the moon shaped washer with two flats to round and rotate 90 degrees. Or you could file two parallel flats on the spindle 90 degrees to the existing. Then again you could just find a rear. Lol good luck.
