Can I use Peek or Autosol? Don't want to risk damaging the finish...

Quick rub with peek should be OK, both are abrasive but peeks less so. Could try n find a liquid one to be safe.....

Peek is less abrasive :daumenhoch:
And better IMO

Peek every time
We should try and get Peek to sponsor MK, I'm sure they have no idea of their contribution to BMX restoration
Come to think of it neither do the makers of Oven Pride probably - I keep forgetting that stuff is actually for cleaning ovens :teef:

Just thought, bit of T-cut would brighten em up Neil 👍👍

The trouble with Autosol is it's too grainy and can damage chrome that you only need to bring back to a high shine - autosol is more for old car pars that don't need a show shine polish up
PEEK and MOTHERS do a far better job as it's a smoother compound and used right will bring up chrome and such like to a higher shine/mirror look
Also using the right type of polishing cloth will help - the car polish rag with bigger holes is great as it allows the polish cream to move about and not dry to a hard spot that can be found using a tight weave cloth - this can cause it to scuff and line the chrome just when you don't need it
Cheers B
