Title: Brand new Rockshox Reverb stealth seatpost
Post by: kev-s on November 04, 2017, 07:11 PM
Brand new Rockshox Reverb stealth seatpost purchased today for £294.99 from Evans cycles

Size 30.9, 125mm drop

This is a brand new 2017 version with the uprated seals and x1 remote

Was a warranty replacement for a Specialized command dropper post (specialized credited Evans the cost of the post and Evans gave me a credit note to spend in store)

Went to fit it to my specialized mtb only to find my frame's internal routing will only take a 4mm cable and the reverb uses a 5mm hydraulic hose

Only reason im not returning to the store is that they will only offer me store credit and they don't stock any other droppers im interested in

Will take £250 posted, payment via paypal friends and family or instant bank transfer

With Christmas coming up wouldn't it be easier to get the credit note and sell that for £250? Surely someone on here is buying their nipper a Hoy or Early Rider, or even (shudder) a mtb or racer?

Just a thought?

Evans wouldn't go for that due to it being a warranty replacement via Specialized

Ive kicked up a fuss and finally after over a month they agreed to give me a £290 gift card

Will post it up for sale on here

Cheers
