On holiday for MK missed York yesterday due to picking up son from Uni, would love to make this one . Any recommendations for digs?

OK folks, here's the start point:
No.1 Pub which is 200m from the railway station. NOT the pub on the railway station! Post code: DN35 8AX. It is the old station house and runs alongside the railway lines across the lines from the beach. There is a large pay and display car park adjacent to it as well as SOME free on street parking. Meet up from 1200 with a planned depart of 1300. The route is completely different and there are a couple of new pubs, a couple of old favourites and a return to The Grosvenor, via a run through the country park. There are a couple of short legs on public roads but they are at a minimum to allow people to ride safely. It is kid friendly and there are some parts that are 'off-road'. Nothing that Red Bull would sponsor though!

This is next on the calendar, we will try and accommodate the game during the ride but it was never a consideration that England would be involved in the 3rd 4th place play off. Not because I’d thought they’d win but I didn’t expect the young lions to get this far.
