One of my new activities to keep me occupied and to cheer me up is:

1) go on eBay
2) type 'Raleigh Burner' into the search
3) sort list starting with price high-low
4) laugh at how some of these magical creations have ever been thunk up. They're the work of mad men.

I think it is an elswick
I had one back in the day
swapped it 'thankfully as it had cotterpin cranks' at hayes track in 1983
for a 75 mongoose - or the one with a lower gusset - for years thought it was an ammoco
 :LolLolLolLol:
got home asme day broke bike apart, resprayed frame dark blue and in my haste to re assemble and ride, left a lois corduroy wet paint mark in the top tube
