Title: 24” landing gear steering tube length?
Post by: thebigdog on January 19, 2018, 09:22 AM
I have these lg 24” forks that i was contemplating putting on my GT cruiser but the steering tube is too long for the GT head tube , now i dont really want to trim them down if i can help it. ( i.e In case i ever get a SE floval)
Can anyone confirm the length of steerer tube on some 1" threaded 24” lgs? these do look longer too me so would require a trim down anyway?
If not i'm guessing that flovals have bigger headtubes?

5" headtube. Approx. 6 1/2" steerer tube. Note the extra washers between the bearing cup and headset locking nut.
