I managed to remove some decals easily but all the sticker residue stayed put! how do I remove this residue without damaging the original paint? so basically what have you lot tried and its worked :daumenhoch: please lmk thx :daumenhoch:

I use off the shelf label remover but I expect Acetone would work. I would try this on an inconspicuous area first though, just in case. :daumenhoch:

Normally white spirit is ok.
If not i always use automotive brake cleaner its great stuff to use for that i find

Thx peeps,I tried wd40 no worky :( tried white spirits mixed results? think I have some brake cleaner in the garage,not tried label remover as not looked or seen it? :daumenhoch:

Brake cleaner is effectively thinners, be careful you do not remove / soften the paint underneath. Panel wipe /degreaser for car bodywork does the job :daumenhoch:

I’ve used nail polish remover in the past, that worked ok.

Methylated spirit from home bargains, also use it on cars to remove badge residue.

Cheapest stuff you can find in boots will do the trick. ;)
