………...then I thought Fook It! :LolLolLolLol:
This bad boy started out as a bit of a unwanted child.
As you can see it was originally a Maui blue GT from the Performer family, it's stickered up as a standard Performer but is 4130 stamped therefore fully cro-mo and has double cable guides which mean by GT folklore it should be a World Tour. The informed among you will know that the 4130 stamped frames, whether US or Jap made, were the same for the whole range in 85/86 until the DS### numbered Taiwanese tri-moly frames were introduced as the base line Performer only.
To add insult to injury, somebody had given it a good going over in black rattle!

But as you can see, it's absolutely solid and the drop outs are awesome!
But the stickers were shot.
STOP! Before the 'keep it OG, it's only OG once' brigade start I do have a Maui blue survivor already in the collection

In 1986 GT produced the Pro World Tour in the following colours: Green, Pink, Lavender, White, Blue and Chrome (as standard).
So since I already have a green, pink and lavender PWT as well as the survivor blue I was bereft of a white PWT.
SBD did his magic.

I might be a little bit biased but in the flesh it is really crisp and clean and looks like it's come straight out of the shop window.
