Title: Converting wheels from 10mm to 14mm
Post by: Michael bmx on January 08, 2019, 10:22 PM
Hi all, I have some  wheels with 10mm axle, I want to make them 14mm, they have sealed bearings, is it just a case of inserting 14mm ID (inner diameter) bearings with a 14mm axle or is there more to it?
Also which bearings do you recommend for pure speed. Thank you, any help would be great

Be easier to use the thread on 10-14mm adapters mate. Had some on ages with no problem

Those are very good if you are using pegs. They replace the lock nut, meaning all of the load goes onto the adapter and not your axle. They're more of a pain to fit, but well worth it in the end.
