Hoffman coming up at auction this tuesday and was wondering what a good price is for it, I don't want to over pay etc..
-
I might be wrong but that is a cheap piece of crap and not a Hoffman!
-
:) Nick is right. Those were sold under several brands, all almost identical. They pop up quite frequently & are pretty much worthless:)
-
Yes, they were sold under a number of different brands, and are often sold on ebay by people who have no interest or knowledge of old school BMX, and think they are valuable. That’s the polite answer. Another answer is they are sold by untrustworthy con-men who are flipping something they’ve paid £10 for, and are trying to pass it off as something it isn’t. In other words, avoid, and don’t get ripped off.

Thank you so much for the advice, I was only going by the auction description and thought they would have checked it out before listing it as such, ill stay clear of it thank you guys.

Put a wanted ad to what particular bike you are after.
Someone might have what your after or, point you in the direction for what’s available.
There are some dodgy ads out there and repops selling as original.

I recently got a Hoffman Lady Luck (ex-display so has a few scuff marks) i could be persuaded to part with if you was interested. It is an amazing bike, I just feel too big on it and as a result not very confident so am going to get a 24" after trying one.

Just sent you a pm about 22's mate. A 24 is for cruising, if you want a BMX still then try a 22" wheel before you commit to a 24" and regret it :-\

Not really looking for a bike at the mo but I do visit alot of auction and I do clearances so sometimes come across bits that might be of interest to people on here, but if a bike comes up at the right price I like I will keep it :)
