Title: Cantilver caliper to side Pull Caliper Conversion
Post by: BMX1973 on August 07, 2019, 06:02 PM
I have a Cantilever Brake Caliper and want to convert to a side pull caliper.

I'm sure I have seen brackets that mount on lugs to convert.

Is their such a conversion and if so can some one recommend where to get one.

Neil, are you trying to get a more old school look I take it, as the bike will not stop anything like it does now if you swap them ???

I'd say the lugs would get in the way of a caliper - I've seen the opposite way around before, ie a bracket to make an old school caliper brake into a newer lugged type, but can't recall the way you're looking for I'm afraid :-\
