Title: Newbie needs help

Just bought my dream bike when I was a kids.  An 83 Californian

Can anyone share a link to the pics/spec of the bike when it was brought out..  Am struggling to find any resources but am sure someone here will point me straight to them.  I might replace a few bits over time (in no hurry) and would like to keep to the original spec

Its good but I think a nicer set of pedals and a new seat would set it off
And the repop lever doesnt look right
