Hello chaps - need some help ID'ing these rims.

Been told they are 7x's but Im not convinced as the stamp doesn't match the OG rims.

Perhaps they are repops but I'm still curious that the OG stamp isn't on them.

Ive spoken to Araya UK who say they are but Im also ware that that is just the company name and thye have nothing to do with Araya Japan.

Don't think they are repops because those are stamped differently

TBH I think they are snide. The colour doesnt seem right, the stamp isnt right.

I dont think the bod Ive speaking to at Araya (UK) knows what he's talking about. They have nothing to do Araya (Japan) so this makes me question where he's comming from. Even the repops from Natsukishi have the OG stamp on them.

Or maybe Im just to un-trusting and cynical? :idiot2: :idiot2:

If they're 48h rims (looks like they are) the stamp is correct.  :daumenhoch:

If they 24" they look correct to me,also remember these are 30+ years old so colour could have faded over the years as alot did

You know what year they came out bro? My knowledge is mostly stuff between 82-84 at best lol
ive got some OG 7X and the stamp is totally different and I wasnt aware these ones exisited, so really appreciate the feedback.
They are the 48 hole ones...so any info on the year would be much appreciated.

No idea what year they came out tbh but I'm sure someone will be along that does. I'd say they're definitely later than 36's which might explain the colour difference... perhaps a they were using a different aluminium supplier or different anodisers... maybe.  ???

The silver ones below are the stamp from Araya 7x 48s and it looks identical to yours.

They look right to me if 48 hole.  :)

85 to early 90s I would say. :daumenhoch:
