Title: Brake pad toe-in
Post by: kalex on October 16, 2019, 09:56 PM
Just wondering what is a good guide for the amount of toe-in to try and keep these brakes quiet.

This is on modern pads so a lot longer than the old school DC tan pads.

I've currently set them up using a 2mm drill bit, that looks alot when setting up but wondering if others are going for more.

Depends on the brakes used to a degree I rec. more flex, more toe

Think I'm going to go for a wider gap than 2mm.

My son said I sound like a rocket fire work going up  :D
