Title: Centering MX900's

Im cursed.

I've never been able to sort brakes out so that they apply release evenly.

Got a centraliser on rear brake  - hasnt made a difference.

Anyone help me out?

Steve, I always found this got sorted with the correct thin brass washers between the caliper arms and a bit of grease. Also the correct locking nuts (13mm thin larger one at the back, 10mm domed one at the front) locked with goldilocks tightens, ie enough freedom of movement to not be to tight but not too loose to bend  :P

Then lock the 10mm nylock nut at the other end onto the frame and tweak the centraliser screw if needed :coolsmiley:

Thanks for yr help with this mate.

If Im honest, I probably need to spend more time trying to do it properly that just tightening front and back and using the fingers crossed approach - like I used to when I was 14 lol.

I'm in the process of fine tuning a ProX that I got before I stopped building and want to get it spot on, so your help is much appreciated.

I'm sedning brakes away to get them anodised and when they come back, I'm going to put yr method into practice,so again thanks and really appreciate yr help.
