Title: Schwinn KO
Post by: Chilli Rinse on May 07, 2020, 01:41 PM
I had to pop a few bits of shopping in for my mum and dad earlier, below is what my dad pulled out of his garage to show me. It’s a Schwinn KO- Shut Up And Ride, I think it’s an aluminum frame with nice welds, nothing too special but I’ve never seen a wheel set like these before. Interesting

Wow, that's a new one on me too. Be interesting to see if (be educated by) anyone (who) can shed more light on the rational behind that, if of course there is one.

That’s why I posted it. 60 spokes per wheel has got to be strong as f**k
There are a few on eBay going cheap but not with this spoking.

With all due respect Schwinn  haven`t made a decent BMX in 10 years. Made for the toyshop market-wheels are just a gimmick  & nobody puts v brakes on freestyle bikes.

No ofence taken  :LolLolLolLol: I knew it wasn’t anything special as all the parts are unbranded but I thought the wheels were kinda interesting. I thought the v brakes were odd and maybe it was older than it is. Only a few years old apparently. I’ll tell dad to stick to his road bikes  :daumenhoch:
