Title: Redline MXii - 1982
Post by: Rob28Lee on June 02, 2020, 12:48 PM
Third build done... (follows on from my Mongoose Californian 83 and a 85 GT Pro Series I built for my son!).

This one is a Redline MXii ? 1982 and is for my daughter!!!  Kept me sane tracking down some of the parts and building it during lockdown, all original chrome which isn't in bad condition for a 38 year old bike!  The three of use are out most nights riding the bikes for some family exercise, the kids have no idea really what they are riding, but every now and then we'll pass some feller in their 40s and 50s who know exactly what they are looking at.

I go out with the missus and our 2 daughters on our old geese most nights.

Get a group shot of your bikes lined up together out and about mate.

Nice clean build that Rob, looks great.

I like that you've not gone down the red tyres road, I've seen a lot of bikes with red, blue, gold parts that have coloured tyres that make them look a bit OTT IMHO

Spot on mate - look great all together  :daumenhoch:

As for the missus - you just build her one anyway - it's a great excuse for another build on the go.....  :LolLolLolLol:
