Title: AD 990
Post by: c100dave on May 03, 2022, 07:37 PM
Hello

Can any one help
I'm struggling to set up my rear AD990
I have one arm that moves lovely but the other doesn't return from where it came from and just rubs up against the rim and I have to pull it away
I think that the spring might be the problem but can anyone confirm that or point me in the right direction ?
I have tried tensioning the spring with the nut but it still does the same thing  !!
Thanks in advance for your help, I could never get my brakes right and thing haven't changed!!!
Nice one

I'm not too familiar with these but check the springs are both sat properly.
I think they only work one way  ???

Check these instructions out, if the problem is still there the springs are cheap so replace them. Good luck fistblump
