I have just bought some black Pr1mo The Wall tyres to replace the white. I was never really happy with the white, hopefully the black will look the part  fistblump

It's definitely going to look better for them. The white ones came up cheap when I was building the bike  Skint

All good my friend, thanks.

Busy, busy. Crazily (seems to be my std modus operandi  :2funny:) I've, started my own company (with longtime work colleague, and now business partner), have the joy of a grandson, and I'm still too busy putting the beetle back together. Should start a thread lol. Just a little too far off our default subject matter on the forum. Desperately wanting to get back to the VDC. Hopefully sometime in the near future, or at least before I'm too old  :LolLolLolLol:.

Stay safe. I know it's quiet around here, not helped with the current image issues, but I'm still here most days, in the background, and picking the odd bit up on eBay etc.

Good to hear you are well Pete. You had a lot thrown at you, good and bad, you are still kicking, happy and on a new path. Your hard work will pay off, I'm sure. You can spoil us with the VDC when the time is right.

Bret's imgbb tip will hopefully get people posting pics again and we can all enjoy some new builds 👍🏼

Keep lurking mate.

Yup. I really don't like laybacks. Never have really.

I know what you mean about laybacks. For some bikes, I think they look/work well. For example, old school race bikes like a Kuwi Laserlite. For newer rigs, I'm less of a fan. Depends on the style of layback too.

Anyway, I digress - got a pic of that straight post yet Chilli?? ;)

The post is on after a clean up, a little ratty still but better looking than the Freak Factory post originally fitted. I went for a 22.2 Pr1mo Rod, nice. Pics soon, I must have pinched the front inner tube when swapping out the tyres because it's now flat. When that's been sorted out, I will share a few pics.

OK, not quite done  :LolLolLolLol:
I have just bought a drilled black seat clamp to use, Odyssey style. The Pr1mo Viking isn't holding the post in place tight enough. The black will break the frame and post up nicely too. Another pic to come when it arrives and is fitted.

The clamp arrived today. I decided to make a little shim to ensure the post stays in place. No Coke in the fridge so I used my new favorite, Tango Paradise Punch. It worked a treat, the post is solidly in place.
Final pic when I can be bothered.
