thermal transfer -hot ribbon machines
ie the gerber edge 1 and 2

the roland pc 60 -600

plus any solvent based injet, that uses acetone/amonia - basically screen ink
-
these machines are generally from 5 feet to 3 metres wide,
-the vutek 3 metre machine is a mere 400,000 pounds and uses 5 metres of material, just to spool up!
-hense you won't get anyone wanting to print a decal set on one

-ask your local sign maker if he has the gerber or roland
-i maybe buying a solvent machine soon

If I am not mistaken you can get adhesive foil inkjet sheets. You will probably find that they will not be very durable as the ink will scrape off, however if you are not gonna ride it, it might be OK for a show bike. I guess you might be able to coat the ink, or put a clear film over the top. And don't forget, you won;t be able to do white.
