its 3 quid.
and probably worth it.

Not an 86 Performer then? ;) ;D

Thats a Crutch Prickstar

From looking at the hole arrangement in the rear drop-out it looks like it could be an '85/'86 GT.
Does it have 'GT' stamped on the end of the top tube behind the seat-post?
-
Not 85 86 GT, look at the cable guide.
To be the suggested year I would have thought it would have to have the cable guide on the down tube to go to the dia compe centre pull.
Also, drop outs dont look GT and there does not apear to be a brace between the chain stays.
its a choclate bus.

Change the decals and there you go.
Another lump of generic crap....

Ahhhh - good call Orb. Thanks mate.
Anyhow, just thought I'd check as the pic was so bad! Just in case it was a rare japanese prototype or something! (yeah, right)
There were some signs which are so GT; the holes, the fork stays, the headtube, etc. But the top tube doesn't seem to come through the seat tube far enough and it looks like it cuts off straight rather than sloped. The cable guide looks correct on the forks, but not the frame and I believe it should also have a coaster plate?
But, alas, just another pile of sh1te.
When is my day gonna come to find a cheap gem?! :( ;D
