I've just received my order from them, nice and fast as always.

They managed to get me the only one of this frame in the UK, and all the other bits of the order were all present and correct (even though I changed some of them on the day it was sent out!)

PLUS - I got free stickers, free inner tubes, free repair kit and free tyre levers!

This is the way it should be done. Bloo dy brilliant! Thank you.

dito - just bought some Nike trainers from their alansstore.com... came next day even thought I paid for the 3+ delivery, email to tell me the order was despatched. Stickers and a free repair kit...

Post by: priv on January 20, 2007, 12:00 AM: they must have been looking after you lot,i ordered a plate, some numbers and a dvd last friday heard nothing since,i've e-mailed them twice,still no look,i've looked into my account on the site it says "order processing."since the 13th!.

our lass ordered a dvd for me for christmas,she paid extra to get it in time for me to open it christams morning,never arrived,so she e-mailed them,they replied saying the dvd was out of stock,surely for better customer service they should have informed her of the situation,instead of her chasing it up.

i understood it was near christmas and it's busy,but a quick courtesy call/e-mail wouldn't have been too much trouble?

so i'm not happy with alans at the moment.

Post by: priv on January 21, 2007, 01:56 AM: rung alans this morning at 10:30,explained my situation and i was told that they didn't have the plate or the sticky numbers in stock so they have ordered them for me,i should get them next week "sometime"!!

then when i checked my e-mail tonight at work surprise,surprise i had an e-mail reply from alans telling me everything that they told me on the phone,the time the e-mail was sent 10:48,so it looks like to me that alans had forgotten to reply to my e-mails untill i phoned and reminded them about my order.

so to me alans aren't fecking excellent.{unless i get an unusual amount of freebies for all the fcuking about}

but the comms from the place are second to none. so even if your order cannot be fulfilled, you are notified and given options

and paid by paypal too - and have to say unlike the past when i have emailed them at the shop
i got a prompt reply explaining how to use paypal on their site

Didn't have the bars in stock in the colour I wanted (was listed on the website tho). Dropped me an email that evening to tell me they had to order them in and would despatch on receipt.
Got these today, via RM next day special delivery:

Lollies always go down well with the kids, but I reckon I got about a dozen tyre levers now ;)

got home last night to see what alans had sent me,aswell as no site stickers,lolly,tyre levers & it been 13 days late,they sent me the wrong plate and wrong numbers :wtf:,on my account on alans site it says i ordered 4 x ATI numbers 1x fox number plate{mini,red}.

on my reciept i got in the parcel it states what i actually got...it was 4x tangent numbers 1 x lizard skins charger plate {mini red}

i'm jinxed :yahoo_silent:

Where with Vertigo i always have bits missing been waiting a week for some spoke nipples that where missing,he didn't reply to my email so i phoned him,while i was on the phone to him he was painting and kept droping the phone and pressing the buttons so i got a loud beep in my ear(How rude is that)any way he said send him another email with my address and he will send some more............Still waiting >:( Don't want to upset him coz i'm having my Pro class rechromed with him.
