I saw that i the museum today and thought it looked cool. The old Tuffs look really good on it.

I've recently gone Burner mad for some reason. I guess it's because I've scored 4 within a week.  :LolLolLolLol:

Cheers for the comments and starting the thread. :daumenhoch: I bought the bike a couple of years ago needing plenty of work. Nothing on it was original initially so just bought NOS parts when I came across them.
NOS Skyway Tuff 1's
NOS V Bars
NOS Suntour Stem
NOS Suntour Seat Clamp
NOS Fluted Seatpost
NOS Aero Seat
NOS Sugino Crank & Chainring
NOS SR Pedals
NOS MX1000 Brakes
NOS AME Tri Grips
NOS "R" dice caps

I know the Skyways are not to everyones taste and would prefer it original but I think they suit it, although I will change them for blue Tuff 2's at some point.

Yep those first Pro Burners are lovely.

I can still remember sitting outside my local bike shop on my MK1 red burner and longingly looking at the sparkly Pro Burner sitting inthe window.

Nice bike, I missed this post at first.

I am helping a mate do up a mk1 pro at the moment. The frame is getting fixed (the "R" in the gussett was cracked) and a few other things tidied up. We have almost got all the parts for it now, just need to get some of the propper forks for it, and maybe some blue comp3s for under £100.

Chrome stripped off, still with cracks in gussett

gussett fixed and polished, almost ready for chroming
