Title: Ones' that got away.
Post by: muttley on March 02, 2007, 11:10 AM
So far in the last week i have spotted an older guy on a bash guard sport in blue but lost him in the traffic and last night saw some kid on what was prime OLD SCHOOL.

The tyres stood out first as thay were red, chrome frame, chrome bars (non V type) single picece crank and a dead ringer for a mongoose gusset, thought it was a goose at first then i clocked the downtube and the writing was in gold, then i had lost him  >:(

I know i have seen one of these before but for the life of me cant remember what it was, Ammaco rings bells but i dunno.

HELP ITS DRIVING ME NUTS.

Might have to stake it out again and hope i see him.

a mate of mine's little brother had a mint patterson pr200.
he had bought it off a dude who had it new in 83. it was high spec

i went to his house in late 96 to buy it off him and he had just sold it for 50 quid. the day before.
he still had a chrome aero pro burner though, and i passed on that one. would have been another 50 quid job.
