Title: Help needed: 1983 Sentinel Scorpion / Exploder Frame & Forks
Post by: Redline on April 16, 2007, 11:23 AM
Hey guys,
Got myself an early Sentinel Scorpion Frame & Forks to restore. It was known as Sentinal Exploder here in the UK and was featured in Official BMX Magazine No. 2. Frame is made of "Mangalloy" and has "lugged" joints instead usual TIG welding. Forks are Tange TX1200.

I just wondered if anyone here has any pics or reference for the decals?

As you can see from the pics, the downtube decal has a fair chunk missing off the end and I need to be sure how it should look before reproducing it. If you look on the seat tube decal there are 5 "chevrons" in a row so I'm guessing that there will be 5 after the scorpion letting on the downtube.... but I'm not 100% sure as this would make a very long downtube decal?

Any help would be much appreciated guys!

Thanks. John

Knocked Up the artwork today for the decals. I've had to guess what the complete downtube decal should look like!

Do you guys agree what I've done with the downtube decal would be correct taking into account the appearance of the existing seat tube decal on the photos?

Thanks.

John
