Title: asad pads against wilko's plus cheap chains
Post by: zed4130 on May 01, 2007, 12:53 PM
ok after reading stella daves post (thanks dave ) i went off to asda and wilko's to purchase there pads ,and give them a try  :daumenhoch: while in asda i found the gold kmc chain £2.98  :daumenhoch: bargain , ok the wilko's are £1.99 and the asda are £1.38 , i treid both on the front ,now my bike is still abit dusty from yesterdays ride down the old poole track  :daumenhoch: but once this had rubbed off all was ok ,too be honest both were ok nothing amazing ,but i pulled a endo on both pads  :daumenhoch: so for the price i say why not ,i personally prefere the asda ,seems a bit longer ,ive put them up front and the wilko's at the back  :daumenhoch:

I went to my local asda super mega store and was very dissapointed to see they had no bike stuff.

I spoke to the manager, he said they stopped a while ago.

Seeing as theya re such a megastore im guessing th others will follow suit.

So everybody stock up, and someone please get a couple chains & tuff pads for me :(
