Hi,
I just spotted this in a lay-by on the way home from Tesco’s!
Anybody any ideas what the frame and forks are? (apart from old and rusty) I thought it could be an old Mongoose but I think the serial number is in the wrong place, which is J2006595 if that means anything to anybody…Thanks if you can help...

Yup, an Mongoose 2. :daumenhoch:

Yep thats a Mongoose original Forks aswell and CW Freestyle Bars. You can see it's been used as a Freestyler, should clean up nicely by the look of it too.

-
could be a supergoose....it looks very much like one a mate of mine has circa 84?
-
that is a great great find.
nice one.
-
Yeah.... what a find.
Sublime welds.... :smitten: Its a Supergoose i reckon... they stopped making that shape in 82. I think it could be as early as 79. You can id it by the shape of the rear dropout and the brake holes on the rear brake stay... The serial number is in the right place.... one of the Goose experts will id it for defo i am sure :) PM TheRuler ;)

Yep, looks just like my old Supergoose that i had (2nd hand swapsy) back in 84!
Well done that man......another bit of history saved. :daumenhoch:
