I bought Ma a new kitchen (sort of). This is the before. It was 15 years old.

So for less than 400 quid...

Unfortunately the kick boards arrived today, the day I had to come home ffs. Will finish that when I return.

Checked out that other skate park today and it was great! Further away and not quite as big as my local one but the quarter pipe is the perfect height to learn on and super wide too. Will therefore definitely be heading back there!! :daumenhoch:

As an added bonus there was a guy there on a hardtail mtb who I'd met for the first time last week at a pump track. It was he who'd told me about this skate park. Anyway, we got talking about bikes and when I said that I was looking for a park bike he said he had an old Sunday bike that I could have. It has a 20.5" tt rather than the 21" I'd ideally want but it looks like a fun not to mention cheap project! We'll see! :D

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid that!! :daumenhoch:

I was thinking of doing the same at ROM last summer, I shit out every time I planned to go. Maybe this summer  :daumenhoch:

Definitely give it a go mate! Pick a time when it's not so busy, then you can go at your own pace, etc.

I've just found out about another park in the same prefecture (county) as me, but 90 minutes' drive down the coast, so may have to give that a go at some point soon! Here's a link to some pics of that one:-

I'm also ramping up (pun intended) the search for a park bike that I can chuck about and drop without worrying about damaging it! ;D

Yeah on a fun scale I would deffo give it a 0  :LolLolLolLol:

It's still there. Well, I say there, but now it's at the top of my thighs. I am hoping it will go, I CBA going back to the doc for a 4th time ffs.

Fork came in. Cranks are here, bolts, stickers etc. Ordered some washers too !. Just been stupid busy. I had one of those convos with mum about two weeks ago. "Hmm, I wonder if we could get new doors for the kitchen?". FFS  :LolLolLolLol: Been working my ass off, but she's worth it. One of those ideas that quickly escalates !

Still, it will buy me enough "No complaining about bike resto" tokens for the year I reckon  :LolLolLolLol:

Sadly not.

About 7 weeks ago I noticed like a sore on one of the twins. At the time I had no idea what it was. Bit itchy for a few days... Well then it spread. Like all over my old chap and down between my groin. I went to the doc, and he thought it was thrush. Gave me one pill and some cream. I swear, that was the gnarliest pill I have ever taken. Made my head crash, sweats etc. Well it just made it 10x worse. I looked like a red cauliflower down there. Got back to the doc 4 days later and I had been bleeding a lot. I still had no idea what it was. This time he gave me some steroid cream and some strong painkillers. I had to sit on a towel for about a week. I could not even put on PJ shorts as it was so painful. The cream sort of worked, but it only got to around 95% better. Weeks later I went back to the doc. This time he has given me some cortizone cream and anti biotics, after I realised what had actually happened....

I am a bit obsessed with self hygeine. So I have been erm, shaving down there for many years. Well one time I forgot to do it and got in the shower and grabbed a razor. Must have nicked the sack, and got an abscess. Which then got infected, and the treatment for thrush literally fed it. So here I am two months later still trying to heal it. The worst is now gone. Only problem is the ABs are giving me the squirts ffs.

That sounds quite horrific dude. I’m glad you are on the mend and a bit more comfortable. Yeah sometimes the squirts are the price you pay when using AB’s. I hope they along with the cream sorts it out once and for all.  Anyway, give my love to the twins  :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

If I ever find time to paint those cranks yellow I am also going to change the fork on my S&M NBD. They were painted with acrylic and it got badly chipped. I just wanted that bike to be all new.

I got another set of those. Again in white.
