just wondering if it can be done ? as i know it can be with 19mm but wat about 22?

I had a usa with a 22 primo in then put it in a colony mid if thats what you mean.. just took the cups off the bearings.

what i mean is if i go and buy primos of a mate with usa bb  do i have to buy a mid of can i just bodge it ?

The bearings will fit in Your mid frame but You may need to check the bearing spacer that goes inside the bottom bracket as they are usually shorter. A mid is a usa b/b without the bearing cups.
