Name: Matt Wickham .

BMX History: Got my first BMX ( Pro Star ) in 82 whilst dabbling in MX on a Honda CR80 . Jacked in MX and started racing BMX proper late 82/early 83 on a GT Pro Nora Cup custom build from Joe Burlo at Faze 7 . Raced UK wide ( cheers dad  ;) ) until March 87 after collecting three consecutive regional number 1's and fourth in British Champs in 86 when the women/beer goggles got hold  ::) . Last bikes bitd were my trusty PL20 and my VDC 24 ( why oh why did I sell that ! ) .

Pics of the Nora Cup at Peterborough in 1983 .

VDC Gorila pics .

I had a few weeks off work in late 03/early 04 and decided to dig out my old PL20 and rebuild it , not a great build by todays standards and mucho gutted I sold it after it'd been done ( last heard of in Leicester so if anyone knows of it I'd buy it back in a shot ! ) . Been collecting proper since latter part of 2004 I think after finding out about a "scene" as such , wish I'd known that before selling the PL20  ::) .

My PL20 bitd ............................

The 03/04 build of the same F+F and some other bits ( this is the F+F that was sold around that time  :'( ) .

I still have a Dec82 Ltd Edition black chrome Vector MKII from bitd , the first three pics in 2 guises from around 84/85 and me on it at MK around the same time .

Same F+F in 04/05 then quickly built as survivor for MK06 .

Vector race shirt .

Had a couple of these along the way , Group 1 RS1 ( both now gone , one to Lucylastic who made it look fantastic  :-* ) .

My first dabble in some serious metal was buying my mate Paul's Sept83 GHP Pro from bitd ( took me about 12 months to convince him to sell it to me ) , this'll be debuted at some point to be lil bro to my 24 .

Bought a few other weird & wonderfuls along the way , brought this Hyper in from the US ( plinky's favourite .. lol ... ) and it's been owned now by about 5 or 6 RAD members since leaving here . Another was the Schwinn Brian Foster .

Photobucket's just gone spaz so I'll sort this another time ..........  ::)

I've had two Redline RL20's ( both sold because of a lack of passion in freestylers , well apart from GJS Fresstylers that is .. lol .. ) .

The first one .

The second one .

A motomag that will see the light of day at some point .

My 2005 GHP Pro XL .

2004 Supercross 24 UL Pro .
